After some considerations I decided to go with local fixes similar to our others listeners:

nhibernate-core/src/NHibernate/Event/Default/DefaultMergeEventListener.cs

Line 136 in b13c01a

@event.EntityName = source.BestGuessEntityName(entity);

Let's add to 5.3
